Are you feeling stressed? Do you have performance anxiety? Do you find it difficult to focus?
There is a way out! Learn how to manage your stress and anxiety and enhance your performance through mindfulness practices. Join us for this weekly Mindfulness Practices for Performance and Wellness. These sessions will cover basic theory and practicalities of mindfulness practices.
Increasing workloads, tighter deadlines, fast
changing and demanding relationships are some of the major stresses of today's
work life. Without effective tools to deal with the daily pressures, we
can succumb to performance anxiety and emotional disconnection, resulting in frustration
and ill health. It is possible to handle these challenges effectively and
in a relaxed positive mental attitude.
Mindfulness practices involve focusing your mind
on the present, to be aware of your thoughts and actions, and letting go of negative
judgment. Scientific research has shown that the practice of mindfulness
can have many benefits, including enhancing clarity, concentration, mood,
sleep, and immune function, in addition to reducing stress. Facilitated
by Home Nguyen and guest facilitators.
